As the seasons change, our homes naturally start to feel a little warmer, richer and more layered. Autumn is the perfect time to introduce deeper colours, tactile textures and those small details that make a space feel instantly more inviting.
This year, we’re particularly drawn to earthy greens, rich mulberry tones and warm shades inspired by nature. The good news? You don’t need to completely redecorate to embrace them. A new lampshade, statement vase, recycled glass candle holder or piece of tableware can be enough to give a room a fresh seasonal feel.
Here are five autumn colours we’re loving for 2026 and some simple ways to bring them into your home.
1. Olive Green
Earthy, calming and wonderfully versatile, olive green is one of those shades that seems made for autumn.
Softer than a traditional forest green, olive works beautifully alongside natural wood, warm neutrals, cream and amber tones. It’s also an easy colour to live with throughout the year, making it a great choice if you want to embrace the season without your home feeling overly autumnal.
Try introducing olive through a lamp base such as our 39cm Oasis Lamp or lampshade for a subtle injection of colour. On the dining table, pair green ceramics such as our hand painted spiral collection with natural linens and recycled glass for a relaxed, rustic look.
Pairs beautifully with: amber, cream, natural wood and warm brown.
2. Amber
Few colours capture the warmth of autumn quite like amber.
Inspired by golden leaves and the softer light of the season, amber glass instantly brings warmth to a room. It really comes into its own at this time of year, particularly when positioned near a window or filled with the glow of candlelight.
Amber recycled glass vases make beautiful centrepieces filled with seasonal branches or dried foliage, while smaller candle holders can be dotted around a dining table, mantelpiece or shelving.
For an effortless autumn tablescape, combine amber glass with earthy ceramics, natural textures and plenty of candlelight.
Pairs beautifully with: olive green, terracotta, cream and chocolate brown.
3. Mulberry
If you’re ready to introduce something a little richer, mulberry is a beautiful alternative to more traditional autumn reds.
Sitting somewhere between berry, plum and burgundy, it adds depth and warmth without overwhelming a space. This beautiful colour can be found in many of our vases and lamps such as our 39cm Simplicity lamp, 24cm Dune Lamp or our 28cm Diamond Table Lamp.
We love mulberry alongside antique-style brass, dark wood and warm neutral tones. Alternatively, pair it with olive green for a richer, more colourful autumn palette.
Even a small amount can completely change the mood of a room.
Pairs beautifully with: olive green, blush pink, cream and warm metallics.
4. Burnt Orange
Burnt orange is an autumn classic, but in 2026 we’re loving its softer, earthier side.
Rather than bright orange, look for shades inspired by terracotta, rust and fallen leaves. Our favourite is our new Brick Red Velvet lampshade which is finished with a luxurious gold lining.
You don’t need much of it either. A patterned lampshade featuring touches of burnt orange, a decorative vase or a few pieces of warm-toned tableware can be enough.
Try combining burnt orange with recycled glass, natural wood and neutral ceramics to create a relaxed, collected look.
Pairs beautifully with: olive green, amber, cream and natural textures.
5. Warm Neutrals
Autumn colour doesn’t always have to mean dark or dramatic.
Warm neutrals provide the perfect backdrop for richer seasonal shades. They also help create the calm, cosy atmosphere we naturally gravitate towards as the evenings become darker.
Add some neutrals to your space with our natural weave and jute lampshades to create depth while keeping the overall look light and relaxed.
Then add just a few deeper accents — perhaps an amber vase, mulberry lamp or olive lampshade — to gently bring the room into autumn.
Pairs beautifully with: everything!
Creating Your Own Autumn Palette
The best thing about this year's autumn colours is how easily they work together.
You don’t need to choose just one. Try starting with a warm neutral base, adding olive green or amber as your main colour and finishing with smaller touches of mulberry or burnt orange.
And remember, seasonal decorating doesn’t have to mean buying pieces that will only work for a few months of the year. Choosing timeless colours and natural materials means the same pieces can be restyled as the seasons change.
A recycled glass vase filled with autumn branches now can hold fresh spring stems in a few months' time. An olive lamp can feel cosy in autumn and fresh alongside lighter colours in spring.
It’s all about choosing pieces you love and finding new ways to style them throughout the year.
